6 p.m.        festive evening with a lecture of Prof. Ray Bakke on "The World Needs Light- What Is Our Mission?" and an interview with John Ashmen (board member of the CMWA)

Friday, 17th, City missions in a globalised world

9.30 a.m.   worship, prayer and the bible

10 a.m.      panel discussion "Breakfast Or Biblestudy- The Dualism Of Mission And Social Work" with Dr. John Nicholls, Ulrich Laepple and Duncan Mutuma

10.45 a.m. small groups for reflection

11.30 a.m. cross fire interview with the speakers

12.30 p.m. lunch

15 a.m.      lecture "Religion as a political factor in a globalized world" with Prof. Marcia

16.30 p.m. workshops

18 p.m.      Berlin night with several arrangements

19 p.m.      dinner- optional

Saturday, 18th, Day of encounters

9.30 a.m.   worship, prayer and the bible

10 a.m.      lecture "Mentor Or Manager- Leadership With A Serving Attitude" with Rev. Alexander Garth

11 a.m.      small groups

12 p.m.      lunch

13 p.m.      excursion to Lutherstadt Wittenberg and encounters with officials of city missions around the world/ job- and internship market

10 p.m.      back to Berlin


Sunday, 19th, Day of practical experiences

10 a.m.      worship, prayer and the bible

10.30 a.m. lecture "Light Changes The World" with Prof. Wolfgang Huber, held the highest office within the German Evangelical, Lutheran Church- Council Chairman- until 2009  

11 a.m.      Best Practice Examples

11.45 a.m. evaluation of the conference

12.30 p.m. lunch

15 p.m.      afternoon free

18 p.m.      church service at the Junge Kirche Berlin with Rev. Alexander Garth

20 p.m.      festive evening


Monday, 20th, Day of farewell/ Day in Berlin

9.30 a.m.   worship, prayer and the bible

10 a.m.      travel blessings

10.30 a.m. possibilitiy the spend the day with the participants of senior conference and to meet officials of policy, church and society
